In honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, there will be a blessing of all pets in the Assumption Church parking lot on Saturday, October 8th at 9:00 am. In addition to the usual pets, Fr. Josh is hoping to bless some pet snakes! Please join us!
Our online registration for the 2022-2023 Family Faith Formation Program is finally up and running! Our sessions this year will be on Sundays from 9:30 am until 11:15 am or on Tuesdays from 6:15 pm until 7:45 pm. As in previous years, the sessions will be held on one Sunday and Tuesday per month. These are mandatory attendance sessions for both the Students and Parent(s). We are also working on offering some supplemental offerings for parents and students who would like to "dive deeper" into our Faith. Stay tuned for more information regarding these opportunities. The next Altar Server Training/Refresher session will be held this Thursday, May 19th at 6:30 pm in Church. We encourage all our younger parishioners who have received their 1st Communion to consider this important ministry. They will be engaged in parish life, experience new friendships, learn discipline, and have the best seat in the house! Click the link below for more information. Father Josh will hold a Memorial Day Mass at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 30th, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Braidwood. Mass will be held near the Altar and cross by the main entrance. Please bring your own chair if you wish to sit during the service, which will be held rain or shine. Thank you to those who are serving and have served our country and to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We look forward to seeing you at this special Mass!
The Braidwood Knights of Columbus Council is again collecting unneeded religious items and Easter baskets. There are collection bins outside of our church as well as in front of Braidwood City Hall and the Knights' Council Hall (195 E. Main St.).
We will explore the connection between the Jewish Passover meal and the Last Supper that Jesus shared with His Apostles, and how it relates to Mass and the Holy Eucharist today. This is a sampling of food items shared at the Last Supper. Sandwiches will be available right after the event. Free will donation.
Stations of the Cross will be prayed after each Monday and Tuesday communion service and Thursday Mass at Immaculate Conception during Lent. They will also be prayed at Assumption at 6:30 pm each Friday during Lent.

Immaculate Conception Church in Braidwood invites you to join us for a night of fun! You will be assigned a part and are encouraged to come dressed as your character. There’ll be great food...laughs...suspense... and mystery solving! Spaces are limited. Must be at least 21 years old to participate. Advance sign up is required as each person is important in the mystery. RSVP by 2/5/22. Character Assignments will be sent out by 2/5/22.
